The fouding of Contee Creation in 2001 by Congressional board member and award winning artist, Tameka Contee was eminent. After nearly being killed in a tragic car crash, artist Contees' extraordinary artistic journey began. That pivotal moment changed her life forever and art became her universe. Right then she knew her destiny was to give back, by breathing life into all of her creations. Contee’ began drawing at the tender age of eight. She didn’t know back then, art was far more than picking up a paint brush. Experience has taught her that being an artist holds a responsibility to inspire, and help move our world into a brand new era.
